OUR TEAM

Camber Holiday Cottages began organically in the early years of the noughties, and has now grown into a flourishing company based in the heart of Camber. So when there is a problem we are on it!

Harry has witnessed the village change dramatically over the last six decades; the dunes getting steeper, the houses get smarter with a Michelin key for our local hotel, The Gallivant.

Developing the company Georgina and Harry now employ an exceptional team to help them. Our housekeepers are a loyal and trusted posse; the maintenance team – an able menagerie of trades.

HARRY

Chief Barista Officer

Harry is the reason we are here! Practical, sensible, and the voice of reason when it comes to building on the beach! He ensures the smooth running of day to day Maintenance and Operations.

Loves: His Landrover and coffee

Dislikes: Dirty Bins!

GEORGINA

CEO, CFO, CMO, GDB

Georgina is the engine of CHC, and learning the art of delegation! From growing the business and meeting lots of fabulous owners and guests she will put her hand to anything.

Loves: Golden Retrievers, yoga and clearing cupboards

Dislikes: 20mph in London

Emma

Chief of Everything

Emma was the first full time member of staff and has been instrumental in driving us forward with analytics, customer service and pretty much everything which is why she is the Chief of it all. The best decision we ever made! Cool Blue, funny and great with owners and guests alike.

Loves: Tuna, concerts, dune jumping and making memories

WELLINGTON

Chief Happiness Officer

Wellington’s first visit to the beach with his trusted brother, Wolseley the Wonder Dog (RIP). Wellington can be found most days on the beach – barking for balls, jumping the waves and chasing rabbits in the dunes or crashed out in the office waiting for a Starbuster.

Loves: the beach, balls, and people

Dislikes: being left on his own.

TOBY

Toby is part of our fabulous Camber Crew – assisting Harry with all things Maintenance. Credit for doing all those grubby jobs from BBQs, log burners, lawns, and bins! We thank you.

GEOFF THE GIANT

Geoff the builder, is one in a million and thats what he costs! He has talent, wit and knows a thing or two about one or two things. He solves many a conundrum and we think he is fab.

Likes: Bacon sandwiches and cake

THE MITCHELLS

Mark and George the sparkling duo. Fused to our mobile emergency call list – they are one of our big three.

Likes: Football, family

Dislikes: my indecision!

GUY THE UNBLOCKER

Guy is one of our emergency services, a trusted trade that when we call he springs into action. Be it a tap, a leak, or a complete replumb! He is the man that can – unless West Ham have lost.

Likes: Cider, West Ham

Dislikes: low beams (hence the hat)

Wendy

Wendy is the creative genius (and artist too) in creating our beautiful coastal gardens – ably assisted by the wonderful Katia. She is adept in the challenges of the salty sea air and knowing what survives!

Likes: Beaches, plants & a good trowel

Dislikes: Weeds

ANDY

You cannot appreciate the challenges faced by Andy our window cleaner – his sterling work getting the glass gleaming. Weekly window cleaning come rain or shine enables our guests to enjoy our coastal views.

Likes: telling jokes (bad ones!)

Dislikes: Wind and sand

Mike is our web guru – what he doesn’t know about SEO, google analytics, code, formatting, blah blah blah that seriously goes over my head. But what we love about Mike is his cool when we delete content and he doesn’t get cross – the ocassional eye roll maybe… Disclaimer: Apple Store and photo not Mike!.
