Sandways, Camber Sands

Situated on a quiet lane just a couple of minutes from the magnificent Camber Sands, Sandways is a stylish 1930s coastal weather-boarded house with a contemporary makeover.

Inside the property

This lovely property is painted white throughout with grey wooden floorboards making the most of the wonderful light. In 2018 the house underwent a large renovation to make way for an extended open plan kitchen.

By doing this the owners have added a relaxed seating area for communal living. Together with an additional log burner for cosy evenings and a modern glass box window seat to sit and soak in the sunshine. All this extra space makes for the perfect get together with friends and family.

Moving through the property you will find, a family bathroom with a new vintage styled bath with over head shower together with a selection of 1930s mirrors. A spacious living room boasts two leather sofas, another wood-burning stove, and a 52″ smart TV, to while away a few hours with French doors leading onto the deck that runs the length of the property.

Sleeping arrangements

(For those who have stayed before, the configuration from January 2023 is changing to the following – the double bunk room is going to be a king bedroom and the small king will now have one set of bunk beds.)

Bedroom 1 – The master bedroom with a king bed has a modern ensuite shower room. French doors lead out onto the decking.  Sleeps 2.

Bedroom 2 – One set of bunk beds, Sleeps 2.

Bedroom 3 – A king size room with french doors that lead out onto the decking. Sleeps 2.

Bedroom 4 – A super king bedroom that leads out onto the decking. Sleeps 2.

All beds are furnished with luxurious duvets and soft cotton bedding.

Outside the property

The house backs onto a large west facing lawned garden with views of open fields the dunes and the Rye golf course beyond. You will often see herons and geese flying over the garden. A perfect way to relax whilst watching the sun setting over the dunes after a hard day at the beach – watch the children enjoy the vast trampoline or kicking a ball about whilst firing up the BBQ (charcoal).

Sandways is dog-friendly allowing two dogs. There is a £30 fee per dog, per stay.

Parking for 3 cars (further free parking at the top of the lane).

*Due to Camber’s popularity, on very hot days, the field behind the house can be used as an overflow car park. This happens very rarely.
