Booking a holiday cottage

Booking a holiday cottage can be made online. Visit the property page you want, click on the Rates, Availability and Booking tab – then click on the date. A drop-down menu will appear and you work your way through that to generate a booking request., alternatively you can go straight to the availability calendar to see all houses and all bookable dates.

We will then confirm the booking by sending a link to our payment details. Payments are made via BACs (or cheques) at this time (debit and credit cards payment is coming soon). The dates are held provisionally until we receive payment.

Booking information

What is included; Rates include rental, heating, electricity, logs, bed linen and towels.

What is not included; Beach towels and cot bedding. Please bring these with you.

Length of stay; Do click on each property to see their length of stay. With our new booking platform we now offer more flexibility.  Some of our smaller properties such as The Playhouse, Chandlers Cabin and Studio and The Barn will allow 2 night midweek stays.  Changeover days for Christmas, New Year & Easter may vary.

Late availability

Please do call us on 07946 532 130 to find out about late availability. We can normally accommodate same-day arrivals. Discounts are available for late bookings, subject to availability.

Payments

A 30% deposit is due on booking, the remainder 8 weeks before arrival or full payment if within 8 weeks.  A refundable Breakage Deposit is taken for each booking and returned (via BACs, Visa or Mastercard payment) a week after your stay, unless a deduction is required for any breakages, damage or if the property is not left in a suitable condition.

All rates displayed include VAT at the prevailing rate where applicable to that property (The Blue House, Cloudbreak).

Check-in and check-out times

Arrival at properties is from 4 pm, depending on the time of year, you may request earlier access but it is not guaranteed. Departure is strictly 10am.
