Inside Greenbank

The heart of the home is the bright, open-plan kitchen, dining and living space, thoughtfully designed for easy, sociable living. Large French doors draw in the natural light and open onto the side of the property, creating a wonderful connection between the house and its peaceful surroundings.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you’ll need during your stay, including a Neff oven and hob, dishwasher, Delonghi coffee machine with milk frother, Dualit toaster, undercounter fridge and even a cocktail set for relaxed evenings at home.

The comfortable sitting area centres around a cosy log burner, making Greenbank just as inviting in the cooler months as it is during summer. A Smart TV provides entertainment, while a separate snug offers an additional place to unwind and includes a sofa bed, providing flexible accommodation for families.

Sleeping arrangements

Greenbanks comfortably sleeps four guests across two beautifully appointed ensuite bedrooms.

The downstairs bedroom features a luxurious super king-size bed, an ensuite shower room and French doors opening onto the side of the house, where a small bistro table creates the perfect spot for an early morning coffee.

Upstairs, the king-size bedroom enjoys its own ensuite shower room alongside a freestanding bath, with a charming wooden shutter framing views across the fields.

For additional flexibility, the snug sofa bed can accommodate up to two children or one adult. If you would like to use this during your stay, please let us know when booking so it can be prepared with linen and towels (additional charges apply)

Outside, the enclosed rear patio provides a private space for alfresco dining or simply relax on the front porch after a day exploring the coast.

Greenbank is also dog friendly and offers parking for two cars, together with a utility room complete with washing machine and tumble dryer, plus a convenient ground-floor cloakroom.

Whether you’re spending your days walking along the beach, spotting wildlife in Rye Harbour Nature Reserve or enjoying lazy lunches in Rye, Greenbanks offers a wonderfully peaceful base to return to. Surrounded by open countryside and with horses grazing just beyond the house, it’s a place where the pace of life naturally slows and every stay feels restorative.

Things to Note

Greenbank is arranged over several levels. The main living space is on the ground floor, with one bedroom accessed via a few internal steps on the lower level and the second bedroom located upstairs. Guests with reduced mobility should bear this in mind when booking, as there are no bedrooms on the main living floor.

The first-floor bedroom features a decorative wooden shutter framing the countryside view, with a glass balustrade installed in accordance with current safety regulations.
