We had the perfect weekend getaway at this gorgeous property. From the moment we stepped inside, it felt warm, welcoming and such a beautiful home. The house is thoughtfully equipped throughout, with plenty of space for everyone to relax without ever feeling on top of one another. The location is incredibly convenient - just moments from the beach - so easy to pop out for walks, swims, and sunsets. The courtyard garden is stunning too: a real suntrap by day and a lovely place to chil in the evening.

The house is thoughtfully equipped throughout, with plenty of space for everyone to relax without ever feeling on top of one another. The location is incredibly convenient - just moments from the beach - so easy to pop out for walks, swims, and sunsets. The courtyard garden is stunning too: a real suntrap by day and a lovely place to chil in the evening.
We had a really lovely stay at Mandalay. The coastal retreat is warm, comfortable and beautifully put together, but the garden and outdoor spaces were a real highlight for us. They’re thoughtfully laid out and feel like a natural extension of the living space, making them perfect for morning coffee or a relaxed evening after the beach. The outdoor areas are private, sheltered and peaceful, which meant we could enjoy them regardless of the weather. It’s rare to find a seaside place where the garden feels this considered and genuinely usable. Inside, everything was spotlessly clean and well equipped, and the location is ideal with the beach just a short walk away.

Honestly, this is so worth the visit (and incredibly good value for money) this place just keeps giving). It is such a hidden, beautiful gem. Incredibly peaceful and relaxing. Very safe and secure. The attention to detail in this holiday cottage is above and beyond. So much capacity to entertain in such a small footprint. We are coming back in summer, we booked before we left, we want to soak up the garden and bring our parents. It's accessible for those with needs, very comfortable, great for kids and dogs. Location: a stones throw to Rye and Mandalay is 60 seconds from the beach! Our dog loved it! 5 stars from me (I'd easily give more if I could)

The Cottage is immaculate and beautifully finished. Ten of us stayed for Christmas, the bedrooms and shared spaces are ample and the quality of the furniture, bedding and kitchen were of a boutique standard .Very well equipped kitchen .Great location with one minute walk to the beach .Really enjoyed our stay, Georgina and Emma were incredibly responsive and didn’t want to leave .Love to come back in the Summer .

Perfect house for a group getaway with family or friends. We had an amazing trip staying at this property. The size of the house was ideal for our group of friends, with plenty of space to relax and hang out together without feeling cramped. We especially appreciated the large eat in kitchen with doors opening straight into the courtyard garden, which made group meals and socialising so easy. It’s beautifully decorated with wonderfully crafted finishes, making it a very comfortable and stylish place to spend time .

Lovely location. Very quiet & can park 2 cars at the house then walk to the close-by lovely town & its many cafes, restaurants & shops. Very clean & comfortable house with well equipped kitchen although could benefit from adding a microwave. A shower curtain round the additional shower/bath would also be good. Comfortable beds, sofas etc. The Nature Reserve is a must visit location - lovely views etc & a great walk also had along Camber Sands beach but go early as the tide comes in fast!

Access and Parking
- Beach access for vehicles is subject to the discretion of the beach inspector.
- Parking between houses is not allowed (neighbour-owned property).
- High tide and adverse conditions may result in restricted beach access.
- Guests are required to review access information before booking.
- Bring your own bedding for the travel cot if used.
- Parking on the beach in bad weather risks damage to the car.
- This is at the owner’s own risk.
- Dogs are allowed with restrictions during the summer season.
- Additional charge applies for pets.
- Rates for 2025 are now open for booking.
